Many Magnum products can be Reverse Rack-mountable to provide cabling connections in the rear and the LED status and console management in the front. This convenient arrangement also helps maintain a neat look in a central office. Where there is a large arrangement of equipment in a rack, reverse rack-mount is needed.

When units are being installed, it is handy to have the status LEDs at the port where the cables are being connected. When units are in operation, it is handy to have status LEDs on the front of the rack cabinet. Magnum Reverse rack-mount switches provide two sets of LEDs (one front and one rear) for convenience in all situations.
