GarrettCom's hardened products are purpose-built for harsh, utility-class operational environments such as power substations, generation facilities, pipelines and transportation systems. Products are rigorously tested to extreme industrial specifications for temperature, electrical surge protection and immunity. Product packaging includes hard steel cases with no fans and for many models, no open venting. Robust manufacturing test and control processes include temperature cycling and prolonged product burn-in to ensure reliability delivered to the field.
