Carrier equipment sometimes needs to be customized to best fit a particular application. Where a standard Magnum Carrier Ethernet product comes close – but does not exactly fit all of the bill of particulars – a modified design may provide the best solution. Some modified designs need a different DC power connector, some need a different flow of cooling air, some need a special test, some need a software rev freeze, some need a modified mounting arrangement, and some need still other design variations. Each one is a bit of a special case.
