    1.  Will you be Consigning Parts to the Contract Manufacturer?

    • Who maintains stock of Consigned Parts?
    • Will a separate stocking location be necessary?
    • Do Consigned Parts have challenges?
    • Is there a limited shelf life of consigned parts?
    • Do Consigned Parts have multiple Software Revisions?
    • How is the forecast of Consigned Parts derived?
    1. Will we be purchasing parts from suppliers for you?
    • Do Purchased Parts have challenges?  
    • Is there a limited shelf life of Purchased Parts?
    • Do Purchased Parts have multiple Software Revisions?
    • How is the forecast of Purchased Parts derived?
    • Can Alternate or Equivalent parts be quoted?
    • Does your company maintain a Standard Cost for Parts?
    1. Do you have a forecasting system in place?

    • Forecast period (day, week, month, quarter)
    • Forecast accuracy by number of periods
    • How often is forecast updated?
    • Has Forecast accuracy been measured/tested?
    1. Is there a Supplier Contract Pricing Agreement in place that GarrettCom, Inc. - CMD can participate in?  If yes, provide information.
    2. Is GarrettCom, Inc. - CMD required to use Custom Suppliers?  If yes, provide an Approved Vendor List with customer part numbers, supplier part numbers or manufacturer's part numbers, supplier phone numbers and contact person.
    3. What is your company's process for approving new vendors?
    4. Do first articles need to be sent to your engineering department or will GarrettCom, Inc. - CMD be responsible for first article approval?
