8000X Industrial Fiber and
Mixed Media Hub

Overview:

• Configurable 10/100Mb Fiber Hubs for secure Fiber-to-the-desktop installations and for rugged LANs in industrial settings requiring Fiber cabling for EMI noise immunity
• Up to 16 ports, each configurable for port types, and offering a blend of 10Mb and 100Mb Fiber and copper devices to be connected
• Expandability by stacking multiple units. Include DS8016 hubs in the stack for economical 10/100Mb RJ-45 ports. An optional Switch port module in the rear provides traffic domain segmentation
• The family of port modules include:

• 100Mb Fiber: ST multi-mode and single-mode
• 100Mb Fiber: SC, ST, MTRJ
• 10/100Mb RJ-45 Auto-negotiating
• 10/100Mb RJ-45 with Uplink Switch

• Mixed-media and mixed-speed in an industrial-grade Ethernet Hub. The port modules are normally factory installed and tested, but may be changed or added in the field by technicians
