6K Family of Managed
Switches The 6K line includes a variety of Gigabit Modules.
Some use
GBICs and some have fixed Gigabit ports. Below
are
examples of Gigabit modules. Several other port module types are
available. Email

The Magnum 6K
modules are factory configured and tested. Configuration
rules follow:
6K8 has 1 slot, any module
6K16V
has 2 slots, any module in any slot.
6K16
has 2 slots, any module in any slot.
6K25
has 3 slots for any module (except double Gb and fixed Gb
modules) and one D-slot for GBIC only.
6K32T
has 2 slots, any module in any slot.
6K32TRC
has 2 slots, any module in any slot.
