Some use SFPs, and some use GBICs. Below are

The Magnum 6K
modules are factory configured and tested. Configuration
rules follow:
6K32F has 4 slots, any module in 4 slots; Max 4 Gb modules.
6K32FC has 4 slots, any module in these slots; Max 2 Gb modules.
6K32T has 2 slots, any module in these slots.
6K32TRC has 2 slots, any module in these slots.
6K25e has 4 slots, any module in these slots, Gb in 4th slot
6K25 has 3 slots for any module (except double Gb and fixed Gb
modules) & 1 D-slot for GBIC only.
6K16 has 2 slots, any module in these slots.
6K16V has 2 slots, any module in these slots.
6K8 has 1 slot, any module
